Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede
Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede is billed as one of the most fun places to eat in Branson. You can attend pre-show entertainment 50 minutes prior to show time. The pre-show is put on by Mountain Rukus in a 2 level carriage room. The main event is held in a 35,000 square foot arena.
Shows are held nightly at 5:30 and 8:30 pm and each show lasts two hours. The meal is a four course offering that includes creamy vegetable soup, rotisserie chicken, hickory smoked barbecued pork loin, hot buttered corn on the cob, homemade biscuit, herb basted potato, a specialty dessert and unlimited soft drinks, tea or coffee. A vegetarian meal is available upon request which substitutes vegetarian pasta for the meat course.
Diners are split into the North and South and have friendly competitions during the evening. The stampede consists of amazing horse riding stunts and fabulous special effects and pyrotechnics. Also included in the show are stampeding bison, racing pigs, racing ostriches, singing, music, and dancing. Dolly Parton does not appear in the show.
Adult tickets (ages 12 and up) start at $47.27 (price includes tax), while children’s tickets (ages 4 to 11) start at $26.06. Children 3 years old and younger are free only if they sit in an adult’s lap. If a separate meal is needed, regular children’s prices will apply.
