Andy Williams Moon River Grill
Right next door to the Moon River Theater in downtown Branson is a charming restaurant offering reasonably-priced great American cuisine served in a casually elegant atmosphere. Owned by the legendary Andy Williams, the Moon River Grill features delectable home style dishes, many straight from Andy’s mom’s heavenly recipe collection. Andy himself, stopping in after a show, especially loves the Old Fashioned Pot Roast, Stuffed Quail, Chicken Pot Pie, and Meatloaf. The famous macaroni and cheese is made with Gouda for a smooth and tasty twist, and for dessert the bread pudding is in a class of its own. The ambience is warm and welcoming, with lovely atrium views of the garden and waterfall, an outdoor patio, pop art by Andy Warhol, black granite booth tables, and Andy’s gold and platinum records aglow over the bar. Live piano music is a staple of the Grill, which features jazz and old-time songs played on a magnificent red grand piano. You may even meet some of the theater’s performers, who often frequent the Grill for its tasty cuisine and nostalgically trendy lounge atmosphere. Moon River Grill is open Monday through Thursday, 11 am to 10 pm; Friday and Saturday, 11 am – 11 pm; closed on Sunday.
McFarlain’s Family Restaurant
IMAX’s “Ozarks Legendary & Legend” is the idea behind the full-service restaurant which can be found inside the Entertainment Complex in Branson Missouri.
The restaurant has become famous for its homemade pies, cobblers and down home cuisine. Their made to order breakfasts are to be desired as well as their lunch and dinner entrees that feature many mouth-watering foods including sandwiches and their homemade soups. McFarlain’s food is delicious and they will not be outdone in the kitchen. There is a menu for the kids as well.
McFarlain’s is not only famous for it’s cuisine but the atmosphere is also special. A 1900’s theme is recreated and the restaurant is decorated with hundreds of antiques, photographs and original art work. Renowned artist Charles Sumey’s paintings that depict various seasons and generations are featured. Entertainment is also featured.
McFarlain’s Family Restaurant is open from 7:30 AM to 8:30 PM on Sunday through Thursday and on Friday and Saturday, it is open from 7:30 AM to 9:15 PM. Breakfast is served from 7:30 AM to 11:00 AM. On Saturday and Sunday from 7:30 to 11:00 AM, they serve a breakfast buffet. Adults eat for $5:49 and kid seat for $3:49, plus tax.

The restaurant it located centrally and easy to find, it is behind the Grand Palace. Parking is not an issue as they have their own private parking lot. The pricing lists are average for an Italian Bistro ranging from $10.00 to $24.00 per entree. If you choose to an appetizer I recommend the Spedini. It is a wonderful twist on a chicken finger that is breaded with Italian spices and a dipping sauce that is out of this world. They serve wonderful bread and give you sauces for dipping and of course olive oil.
Is it any wonder with entrees like Spaghetti Bolognese, Pomodoro Capellini or Linguini Del Mare that bite for bite you savor each morsel. Area famous for their brick oven pizzas and rave reviews are nothing new for this house specialty. Don’t forget to try one of their tantalizing desserts like a warm slice of lemon cake, Tiramisu, or the Creme Brulee.
The wine list is lengthy and comes from all over the world. The prices range from $24.00 a bottle and up.
