The Welk Theater Branson is located inside the Welk Resort Branson. Privately owned by the Lawrence Welk estate, the theater hosts performances all year. Guests enjoy abundant free parking on the Welk Resort Branson premises.
Welk theater has seating for 2,200 people. In the rear of the theater two sections provide handicap-accessible seating. Purchase refreshments at the concessions stand located in the rear of the building. Restrooms are on the right and left hand sides of the building, next to the concessions area.
The venue hosts performances from a variety of artists including Louise Mandrell and Lee Greenwood. Performances change seasonally. Contact the theater directly for updated information on featured performers.
Shows start at 8 p.m. On selected days additional afternoon performances start at 2 p.m. The theater is closed on Sundays. Student performance groups may inquire about participating in an upcoming show.

Irish Voices Take Branson By Storm
The Tewlve Irish Tenors show has been one of the most popular live music shows in the entertainment mecca of Branson, MO since arriving there a few years ago. It’s no wonder – the recent international tour became a hit sensation around the world! The show features twelve young men who sing together in magnificent harmony. For the Branson show, some of the singers are from Ireland, others are proud Irish-Americans. And boy can these fellas sing! The show features a perfectly blended mix of Irish music, classical pieces, American standards, jazz, and even some pop. There are lots of surprises and laughs in store, too! It is a great high energy two-hour show perfect for all ages.
The Twelve Irish Tenors perform at the Branson Variety Theatre during the Branson show season, which runs from April through December of each year. There is no shortage of opportunities to see this award-winning show. Depending on the day of the week, performances are offered at 10 a.m., 2 p.m. and/or 8 p.m. The Branson Variety Theatre offers free parking, a wonderful gift shop and snacks and drinks from the concession stand. The Pierce Arrow Show is a two hour entertainment extravaganza featuring comedy and music. The show features the group Piece Arrow, a musical quartet in the Guinness World book of records for being the world’s lowest bass singers. The show also features Jarrett Dougherty, a character comedian, Desta, a country music singer and Kim Boyce, a Former Miss Florida, who sings contemporary gospel compositions.
People can order tickets online or by calling the box office toll free. Tickets can be ordered by phone between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Monday-Saturday and between 10 a.m. an 4 p.m. on Sundays. There are two shows available daily, one show at 3 p.m. and another at 7:30 p.m. The shows vary between the show times, so no show is completely the same. There is also a show at 9 p.m. on special dates. Tickets are $29.45 for adults, $14.98 for children ages 4-16 and $27.95 for seniors 55 and older. Family passes are available for two adults and three children are priced at $65.41. People who have seen one show and wish to see another receive the second ticket for the second show half off the box office rate. Merchandise from the show can be bought online, or at the gift shop in the theater. The theater is suitable for visitors with disabilities and is fully ADA compliant.
The Hamner and Barber Variety Show is a spectacular show that will delight all ages. The Hamners magic illusions will astound you, while the ventriloquism of Jim Barber will keep you laughing. As seen on David Letterman and NBC’s “The World’s Greatest Magic,” the talents of Hamner and Barber are well known and loved.
The Hamners are known for making large exotic birds appear from nowhere, and Jim Barber has won the “Ventriolquist of the Year” award. The show also ends with a heartwarming tribute to Veterans. Get ready for a night of family fun and entertainment.
The Hamner and Barber Theater is in its 16th Season of operation. In 2005, the Hamners and Barbers purchased the theater, replacing curtains, lights and adding new video elements.
