Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede is billed as one of the most fun places to eat in Branson. You can attend pre-show entertainment 50 minutes prior to show time. The pre-show is put on by Mountain Rukus in a 2 level carriage room. The main event is held in a 35,000 square foot arena.
Shows are held nightly at 5:30 and 8:30 pm and each show lasts two hours. The meal is a four course offering that includes creamy vegetable soup, rotisserie chicken, hickory smoked barbecued pork loin, hot buttered corn on the cob, homemade biscuit, herb basted potato, a specialty dessert and unlimited soft drinks, tea or coffee. A vegetarian meal is available upon request which substitutes vegetarian pasta for the meat course.
Diners are split into the North and South and have friendly competitions during the evening. The stampede consists of amazing horse riding stunts and fabulous special effects and pyrotechnics. Also included in the show are stampeding bison, racing pigs, racing ostriches, singing, music, and dancing. Dolly Parton does not appear in the show.
Adult tickets (ages 12 and up) start at $47.27 (price includes tax), while children’s tickets (ages 4 to 11) start at $26.06. Children 3 years old and younger are free only if they sit in an adult’s lap. If a separate meal is needed, regular children’s prices will apply.
The Yakov Smirnoff show Branson is an all-ages production. Known for numerous television and movie roles, Yakov Smirnoff has been a city fixture since 1992. Observations on life and love form the basis for Smirnoff’s unique brand of comedy.
Smirnoff performs in Branson from April until December. Start times are 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Lot parking is free for theater guests. The handicap accessible venue seats up to 2,000 people. Russian dancers, pirates, Lady Liberty and the Laboratory of Laughter compliment Smirnoff’s quick paced comedy show. Topics include his journey to citizenship and gradual transition to redneck.

Yakov’s Moscow Circus Dinner Experience features Russian Dancing Bears. Menu items include smoked beef brisket, creamy tomato bisque and Chicken a’la Yakov. Strawberry Shortcake comes in a keepsake glass. Dinner Experience tickets start at $6.48 per person, including dinner. Shows start at 5 p.m. The New Years Eve performance begins at 9 p.m.

A Tribute to John Denver and Country Music Legends
In The Little Opry Theatre in Branson, Missouri, John Denver comes back to life daily. A musical tribute to this folk genius, as well as other country music legends, by Grammy Award winner and close personal friend James Garrett, offers the audience more than just well known Denver songs. Due to his friendship, Garrett is also able to offer insight into John Denver as a person, and the experiences that led to his song writing.
This show began in 2007 and is brought back to Branson over and over due to its popularity. Garrett has performed as lead vocalist of the two time Grammy Award winning group, The Kendalls. He has also toured with Ricky Skaggs and Dolly Parton, as well as other country artists.
The Little Opry Theatre is located in the IMAX Entertainment Complex at 3562 Shepherd of the Hills Expressway in Branson. A one stop entertainment facility, the IMAX complex also offers shopping, dining, the IMAX movie experience and an 11 screen movie theater for children and adults. There is seating for 210 at The Little Opry Theatre offering an intimate setting to enjoy your favorite music.
Ticket prices for the John Denver Tribute are $23 plus tax. Tickets for children 12 and under are free. There is also a free private parking lot. The show begins at 10AM and lasts 2 hours. It continues through December 11th, Monday through Saturday, with the exception of August 15th through September 4th.
Legends in Concert has been playing in Branson, Missouri for twelve years. These are international acclaimed celebrity impersonators who put on a fabulous show. The Haygoods Show in Branson is a popular sell-out performance. It is recommended that if you are only in town for a few days to reserve tickets early in order to get tickets, or to order tickets prior to your arrival.
The Haygoods are a musical family of 7 brothers and 1 sister who started out performing in Silver Dollar City almost 20 years ago. They now sing and play in their own theatre, the Americana Theatre, on the famous Branson strip. They perform a variety of music including country, pop, and gospel from the 50s, 60s, and 70s as well as current songs. Between them the brothers and sister play piano, sax, guitar, fiddle, mandolin, drums, and bass. They are described as being incredibly talented. Audiences describe the show as “feel good,” “powerful,” and “magical.”
The Haygoods, originally from Texas, light up the stage with professional talent and lively performance. Shows are scheduled at 8 PM on Saturdays, Sundays, and Tuesdays through Thursdays each week. Tickets are available for less than $30 per adult and less than $15 per child ages 4-12.
