Visitors to Branson, Missouri can see the town’s sights from a unique vantage point, a “Ride the Ducks” vehicle equally at home on land or water. The hour-long ride includes 25 minutes on the water.
Ride the Ducks Branson has two routes. The Table Rock Lake Experience begins at 2320 W Hwy 76, west of Wal-Mart, in the heart of Branson’s strip. The Lake Taneycomo Experience begins at Branson Landing near Arvest Bank. Ticketing is next to Famous Dave’s BBQ. The Table Rock route includes Branson’s entertainment district, Table Rock Dam, Baird Mountain (seasonal) and “splashdown” into Table Rock Lake. This tour operates from early March through mid-December. Highlights of the Lake Taneycomo excursion include downtown Branson, College of the Ozarks, and splashdown into Lake Taneycomo. It runs late May to early September.
A family four pack costs $54 plus tax when purchased online. Tickets can be purchased on the tour line’s website, through their toll-free “duck line” at 877-887-8225 or at the ticketing kiosks, where each tour begins. People can bring food and beverages on board but no alcohol. Be aware the ducks have no rest rooms on board.
Ride the Ducks, an amphibious sightseeing company, has been making and operating its vehicles for more than 33 years. The vehicles are based on a World War II amphibious design, which was particularly invaluable during the invasion of Normandy.
